Elemental Workshop

  History: Hundreds of years ago a mineral was found that had the ability to change the property of magic.
  The wizards, fearing the effect this may have on their profession, sealed this workshop forever; or so they had hoped. See if you can rediscover the lost knowledge of elemental ore.

  Skill requirements:
  -level 20 Mining
  -level 20 Smithing
  -level 20 Crafting
  -able to kill level 35 monsters
  Needed Items:
  -Regular items:
  4 coal, hammer, pickaxe, needle, some thread, 2 soft leather, knife
  -Quest items:
  Stone bowl, elemental ore, battered book, battered key
  Start location: House in Seers' Village (search bookcase)
  Finished when you've smithed the shield with the workbench in the dungeon.

  1. Go to the House in Seers' Village (has a blue star on the mini map, house is located on the other side of the path and to the west of the Seer’s village bank. Search the east bookcase. There you will find a battered book titled “The Elemental Shield.”

  2. Read the book. Then use your knife on the battered book and you will get a battered key.

  3. Go to the building across the street (a smithy with anvils) Go to the north wall and there is an odd looking wall. Use your key with it and it will open and you will go through. Now go down the ladder.

  4. Now you are in the Elemental Workshop. There are fire, air, water and earth elementals down here

  5. First go north to the water elementals. Now turn the east water valve and then the west one. Then pull the lever in the middle to let the water wheel start spinning. If it says the things reset then you did it wrong, try it again.

  6. Now go west to the earth elementals. Mine the purple rocks and an earth elemental will appear and attack you. Kill it and pick up the Elemental Ore (they don’t always drop them, but usually if you don’t get one the first try, do it again).

  7. Now go east to the air elementals and fix the Bellows (there are two options both called “fix bellows” click one, if it says ‘you can not reach that’ then click the other one.) Now pull the lever by the bellows and it will work (if you get something about the lever resetting you did it wrong)

  8. Now where is the difficult part, search all of the boxes and crates in the level until you find a stone bowl, it is in a random place, so you have to search every one until you find it. After you have found it, go south to the fire elementals and use the stone bowl the lava trough (you are now carrying a bowl of lava, don’t spill it on yourself). Now use the bowl of lava on the furnace in the room. It will say the furnace roars to life, if not you did something wrong in the air or water room.

  9. Next, use your elemental ore on the furnace (a regular furnace will not work it needs to be this furnace). It takes four coal per ore to make a bar of elemental metal.

  10. After you retrieve the bar of metal, take it to the workbenches in the middle of the level, use it on the benches (you need to have a hammer and the battered book) you will then make an elemental shield and the quest is over.

  NOTES:
- Always carry the battered book with you.
