Ernest the ChickenReward: 300gp and 4 quest points. Near Lumbridge there's a town called Draynor. North of that town is a mansion and a lady outside named Veronica who can't do anything for herself. This means she will quest you up. Talk to her and she tells you that her husband hasn't come out for a while or something and asks you to go check it out. After entering you'll notice that the doors close and won't open from that side. In the Scooby shows this always means trouble! It isn't really, though, because none of the enemies here are aggressive. They may bump into you in small areas but they'll just bow their head a little and apologize. Some upstanding ghosts, witches and skeletons these are. Anyway, before going upstairs you might as well pick up the poison in the kitchen. You'll need it later and you don't want to have to come back for it later. Go up stairs after picking it up and on the second floor you'll see some fish food pick that up as well because you need it. After you get the food and climb up the ladder and you'll see a man next to a machine. Talk to him and he'll explain that Ernest is the chicken. Then he'll explain that he can't change him back without your help. He doesn't feel like climbing downstairs, I guess. Maybe it was because he accidently insulted the cooking of one of the undead and now it's pretty awkward down there. Who knows. Anyway, onto the three items! Rubber tubing, pressure gauge and an oil can. You probably noticed tubing in the locked closet with the skeleton when you were fiddling around downstairs. To get in there you'll need the KEY TO MY HEART. Or the one to the closet door. The one for the door lies outside. So, go back to the bottom floor and head to the back door. There should be a spade in small exit room. If there isn't wait and it'll respawn pretty quickly. Go all the way around the back of the house avoiding the trees. On the side of the house you'll get to a brown square of dirt. Use your spade on that and you'll dig the key up. After that head down to the nearby fountain and examine it. You'll notice there are fish that bite in there. You can't just stick your armored hand in real quick to get it, I guess, so use the poison with the fish food . . . now you have poisoned fish food. Yes! Use it on the fish and watch gleefully as they perish one by one by your hand. You've tricked them! Reach into the fountain filled with death and retrieve your well earned reward: the pressure gauge! Since that's done just go back through the front door and use your key on the closet. Squeeze by the skeleton in there that's having a little party and take your rubber tubing. He might ask you to stay and talk but he is clingy so I wouldn't do it. You let him tell you one of your problems and he'll just tell you EVERYTHING like you're his psychologist or something. Two down, one to go. This one is in the basement where you see switches . . . not the one with dracula. This last part is the most annoying part because it's basically guess work. There are no clues so you sit there for a while hitting random switches and being annoyed that the answer is censored if people try to say it. So, here it is: First, you'll probably notice that the switches are labeled A-F. You'll see that when your mouse is over them. Just do flip them in this order and if you think you screwed up, go back upstairs and come back down; they will reset. A, B, D, A, B, F, E, C, E Once you do them like that the last door will be open and you can claim your oil can. Time to take all the items up to Oddenstein and get your quest points and stuff. A job well done for something any average person could have pulled off! Obviously the wife doesn't realize how friendly everyone there is. - by Super Helmet
