  Introduction
A clan supposedly wiped out entirely during the Third Age. They were the Kindred of the Al Kharidian deserts. In many ways, they were similar to us--only that they carried the flaw of ignorance and false beliefs. They were in many ways a cult. A cult built around a dead god. A false god. According to the whispers of old, they lost their Antediluvian approximately one or two thousand years into the Third Age. The next two thousand years were spent trying to revive him.

In the schemes to waken this fallen icon, their lineage turned into a complex cult. Hell, even humans were introduced to it. Their ways were not similar to those of any other vampiric clan, and they became shunned. They turned to dark rituals while ignoring the world around them--a combination that turned out to be most fatal. They left unlife trying to bring it back. . .or did they. . .?

Some years ago, while travelling through the town of Al Kharid, I felt a strange thought slipping through the crowd of the bank. It was certainly not mortal, and it was unlike that of any Kindred I had so far met. It reminded me of something that had merely been planted in my head a night several hundred years ago by a Malkavian by the name of Allanda Sywern. She is a master of Auspex as well as Dementation, and she talked to me about a clan long gone, a clan with mysterious powers of old, surrounded by strong auras of pride and blind wisdom. I do not know why, but her stories tore their way through my mind as I entered the bank.

The sensation danced before me and lured by this strange feeling, I followed it to its source. My eyes eventually came to lay rest upon a woman, and immediately I felt the Beast within me begging to come out. It was a vampire I had never met before, and the only name she gave me was. . .Miss Setite. Could she be telling the truth? Had I actually stumbled across a Kindred of a supposedly dead clan? She was still but a neonate, and thus there must be a sire out there somewhere. But why is she out in the open? If they have not been heard of for thousands of years, should she not be creeping in the shadows of forgotten memories?

The thoughts of this woman stayed with me for a long time. Merely a couple of months ago, I felt the sensation once again, this time I immediately recognized it. It was at the center of the God Wars of the Fifth Age, an area where a never-ending battle is constantly ensuing between the forces of Saradomin and the forces of Zamorak. Here I saw her again, in combat. What does this mean? What are they up to? The voices within me tell me I must find out more. . . .

As my dear Nosferatu contact informed me, the Followers of Set have likely begun to move again due to the recent human disturbances of the old Kharidian pyramids. I ventured there myself but a few nights ago to investigate. Safe to say, these followers of a dead god won't be getting their havens safe for quite some time. Hah! It was chaos! Wonderful chaos! Ancient mummies have even gone so far as to guide the mortals around their trap filled chambers. And those who aren't just plundering are digging through old underground tunnels, completely oblivious to what horrors they have awaken. And they don't appear to be stopping anytime soon, either! I visited four different pyramids and a great underground dungeon that had been infested with human filth.

Now, what does this mean? The Setites have been re-exposed to the Kindred community. With so much human activity in their domains, they can hardly go back into hiding anytime soon. It is therefore safe to say that they will be trying to rebuild their cult like herds once again--could that be what that neonate was up to? Haha. Interesting, indeed. We will finally get some new stories about their dead god. Hey, maybe they will even succeed this time?
