The FoM FundThe FoM Fund is a Fund for the Followers of Malkav to which the members themselves (mainly) make donations. The donations will mainly be money, but can also be other valuable items such as Runes, Rune Armour and Weapons, Adamantite Armour and Weapons, Arrows, Food, Ruby Amulets of Strength, and Diamond Amulets of Power. These objects will be held in the bank of a seperate account which will be held anonymous because it might end up with a lot of money, and we don't want it to get hacked. To donate money or items (one of the kind mentioned above), simply give it to a clan Lord or Primogen of Finance and he will transfer it to the correct account. The money and items gathered in this account will be used to loyal members in need. For example, if someone has died on a clan PKing trip and is fully out of Rune, some of the money may be used to help him buy new stuff (for more precise details on this, look at the bottom of this page). But not anyone can use the money. Due to the risk of scamming, mainly the most trusted members will be helped out in bigger ways. A good way to earn trust could be to donate money, though, so don't feel that you shouldn't bother just because you are new. Let yourself get a good first impression. Other things this money may be spent on could be if someone found a seller of cheap coal, and we have a very good Blacksmith in the clan who could use some more XP, so the money could then be used to buy some of this coal. In the end, a good Blacksmith will be good for everyone in the clan. But this is not the only thing it will be used for. The Lords and Primogen will together decide what to spend money on, and this will very rarely go to them personally. Some exceptions may be if a Lord has died and is fully without armour. But we will certainly not be greedy, we are Lords of this clan because we want it to grow and because we want it to be good, and we will do our best to make it happen. However, don't expect to be helped out the second you die or get hacked, because not everyone is honest, therefore we must first know that we can trust you, and we might think that you have been getting a bit too much of the Fund lately. And when I've mentioned hacking . . . this can be prevented by choosing a password that is not a word or a series of words. Normal words or names can very easily be hacked with the help of just about any password-hacking program, so suggest using a good amount of random letters and numbers. That's the safest way. The longer password, the better. And never use the same password for two accounts or registrations. (Also make sure to never accept files from people you don't know, and keep a decent fire wall -- www.zonealarm.com.) So, please, donate something to the Fund. It doesn't have to be a huge donation, a little is better than nothing at all. And the donation will of course add to your Rank. As mentioned above, here is a more accurate list of what will be replaced if you die on a Clan PKing Trip (everything listed up to your rank):
