Nosferatu

  Introduction
The perfect stalkers. These guys are close to impossible to find. I've spent a lot of time in the sewers of the world, just getting away from the mortal stupidity above me. And only once have I ran into a Nosferatu. He was quite a nice guy, actually. Lives in the Varrock sewers. As long as you're too strong for his pet spiders to kill, he's not such an ass as I've heard people describe him as. I got in there as he was beating the crap out of some moss giant who had stepped on some of his red spider eggs. Stayed and watched the killing, then he actually spoke to me. I must admit that I was surprised. This guy didn't run off into a sewer pipe. He actually stayed and talked. And god damn. Is there anything these motherfuckers don't know? Their insight without the actual possession of the Sight is stunning. Malkav might even let them live once he decides the world has been fucked up for long enough.

Due to my recent discoveries about the Followers of Set, I went looking for the Nosferatu in hope for more information. After a few nights of searching, I managed to come across a neonate whose aura betrayed him to be one of the. . .less blessed ones. Knowing there was little he could do to stop me, I approached him. Hah. Poor fellow had probably never met a Methuselah before. It's cute how humanity clings on even to a beast such as him. Ah well, after a brief moment of persuasion, he agreed to take me to his sire. In a single night, the amount of Nosferatu I had met over the past 1,000 years was about to become three-folded! Safe to say, I was rather excited at the idea.

The young one, calling himself the Sewer Prince--although I doubt his elders would take kindly to that, but I let it slip--led me through some very well hidden tunnels. Even my Auspex found it hard to penetrate the Obfuscate that hid them. The Nosferatu still has a couple of powerful members not yet scared away by the Nictuku, I see? Well, after crawling through a stench foul enough to stain my very soul we eventually reached his sire's chamber. An elder, as I had already guessed. Surprisingly so a rather friendly elder at that. Although I suppose it could just have been because of my age.

Regardless of his reasons, he was willing to trade some information with me. Indeed, he had heard rumours about the questions I brought. But as me, he knew little more than just the fact that they appeared to still be alive--and that they were resurfacing. One guess is that the recent human disturbances in several of the deserts' old pyramids have resulted in the need for new hiding chambers. After such a long torpor, a few were obviously eager to get back out into the world, and thus Embraced a couple of childer to lead them and instruct them in the new ways of magic and civilization. Hah. I can only guess their shock at mere mortals wielding the powers their old warriors once had--the ancient magicks.

After this discussion, my visit with the Nosferatu had ended and I departed the moldy old tunnels that may once upon a time very well have been the resting spot for my own sire. The reappearance of the Setites worry me. I suppose I could be exaggerating, but just in case, I will try to keep more contact with this new Nosferatu contact. If these followers of a dead god are up to something, I want to know about it. And I want to be there to send their dreams into the very same oblivion from which they have just returned. She did have charm, though, that one female, but I'm not going to let her Presence fool me.
