Retired FoM

The position of Retired FoM can only be given out to people who have met pretty high requirements. It's only given out to people who have either grown bored of RuneScape as a game or is simply too busy to still be an active member of FoM, but nonetheless wants to be part of our in-clan community. It doesn't require that they have completely quit RuneScape, only that they have a good excuse for not being able to be as active as we'd like our members to be. Of course we realize that your schedule will change from time to time, and that during certain periods of time you will be able to play as though you are fully active. We would like for you to notify us about such occasions.

  Requirements
You must have been an active FoM member for at least one full year. (If you become Retired FoM and then go back to a regular member, the join date on your personal page will be re-set to this date.)
You must be completely without active Warning Points (each offense is removed after three months).
You must be Rank A or above.
You must have an overall good standing within the clan.

If you meet the above mentioned requirements, you may apply for the position. Then the Primogen make the decision whether or not you can actually get it. We don't want to take any risks, and will only allow people to get this position if we know them well enough to trust them. Another important factor is if we believe the applicant will actually remain semi-active within the community in some way, we just don't expect him or her to play RuneScape very often. After all, the Retired list is very exclusive and we don't want it to become a list of people who just make the clan look bigger than it is and end up a bunch of deadweight.

  Benefits
As a Retired FoM, you will have certain benefits. These may be rather obvious, but we will list them anyway, just in case. They are as follows:

You will have access to the Private FoM boards (but not to any Sworn forums, regardless of your previous position in the clan).
You may participate in any clan activities, including wars.
You will never be kicked due to in-game inactiveness (although we may remove you if we haven't heard from you in a year).
At any time you think you will be fully active again (and not only for a limited amount of time), you may re-join the regular ranks of the clan without any trial period. Doing so will reset the time required to become a Retired FoM, though (in other words, you will once again have to be active for a full year).

  Rules
As a Retired FoM, there are certain rules you must follow, most of which are common to the entire clan. First of all, while being in a Retired position, as far as Warning Points go, you will be considered to have a Rank of J (although your regular Rank will apply when it comes to matters of the fund). This means that you will be kicked if you should get two Warning Points (but we expect a respected member such as yourself to be stain free).

  Now for the more exact rules;
You may not join any other clan.
You may not break any Jagex rules.
You must still follow the regular Fom rules. (Joining another clan falls under this category, but we wanted to be very clear about that.)
You must notify us about any lengthy in-game activity (being able to play as normal for more than a week).
You may not hold any positions other than being a Retired FoM and a spot in the FoM Army.

The Primogen and Lords may at any time remove your Retired FoM title if they see necessary.
