SanguinestiThe Kindred of Morytania. For a long time were they separated from our part of the world by the River Salve, but as people have started traveling through the barrier at the temple, and werewolves apparently getting through to our side, they are no longer as distant as they once felt. A worrying thought, yet slightly entertaining. They are not even aligned with our heritage, seeing as how they were creations of Zaros' spawn. The sources on the subject are a bit vague, but I've heard from Ventrue bastard from Varrock that they are directly descending from the female who taught Caine. That it happened to be a Ventrue who held the most information is another bit of coincidence that I find amusing. The head guy of the known Sanguinesti, Lord Drakan, has created what the Ventrue fear the most--an open vampiric society where the dark lords rule the night. Hah! So much for the Blue Blood's facade. It's hard not to take a liking to these ugly fucks. And ugly is a word that describes them well. Shit, have you seen some of these lonely bastards wandering around the haunted woods? They make a Nosferatu look pretty. Actually, that is a notion that has cut me in twain and rolled me down two different mental paths. . . First, we have the previously mentioned loners who remind me of a mix between a Gangrel and a Nosferatu. Dirty clothes, fucked up skin, pointy ears and crooked teeth. Second, we have fancy fucks who spell out their species with a Y. They may share the crooked teeth and claws, but they're not quite as monstrous. Shit, they look more like a Ventrue sewer rat. Are these even the same clan? Did the spawn of Zaros develop the same kind of family trees as the Cainites? I know that Drakan is around my own age, a Methuselah, but he really can't be the oldest, right? So. . .they have Antediluvians? And how many? . . .That fucking shadow won't stop moving. Stop it! . . .Good. Anyway, that's something worth digging around in. . .or not worth digging around in as it might just as well end at the tip of a burning stake. But someone else can dig around in it. I need to take another trip to the Nosferatu. . . .
