Sworn of Malkav - InformationThe upper echelon of the clan is divided into three groups of Sworn. These three groups are the Sworn of Mysteries, Sworn of the Axe, and Sworn of the Dying Light. Each Sworn has its own set of duties and titles, and the order in which its groups are listed is also the hierarchy of that specific Sworn. Certain Primogen roles may, however, overlap into other groups--you can find all of these exceptions listed in the job descriptions for the different Primogen.A Primogen may never take a role of a non-Primogen Sworn position. For an example, a Jury Primogen is not allowed to sign up as a Warlord or an Oracle Event Keeper. This is so that everyone focuses on the job they have been assigned, and does one good job instead of several half-assed ones. In the same way as a Primogen can not take the role of any non-Primogen Sworn members, a member of one Sworn may never take a position in a different one, and only on rare occasions are they allowed to take multiple positions within the same. Who can take what roles is listed in each of the sub-groups' descriptions. Should you ever get a promotion from, let's say, Bishop to Archbishop, you will give up your role as Bishop in the process of becoming an Archbishop. So you are never trapped in one role, but can always advance in the hierarchal ladder. All of the roles also come with a certain quota on how much you must do to avoid losing your title. (More information on the specifics of these can be found in the title description of the appropriate group.) These quotas are not considered very high and should be easy to meet as long as you spend some time per week on your job. After all, we don't want people to sign up for a position and then not do what he said he would, and we also don't want those who actually do work to burn themselves out. Should a person not meet his quota for two periods (one period can be a week, two weeks, a month, depending on the title--more information on this can be found under each specific group's description) in a row, that person's overlooking Sworn has the right to rid him of the position, and replace him with a new person if needed. Who your overlooking Sworn are can be found in the title description. However, there are some factors that we obviously will take into account before kicking someone from their position (note: position, not clan), such as "real life" circumstances (illness, sick children, vacations, etc.). And should you ever miss a period, a higher ranked Sworn will point this out to you, reminding you of your duties. Certain positions may point out Commanders--a temporary title that only lasts for one period--who will take his spot for a period, in case he knows in advance that he won't be able to meet his quota. Then this person will do it for him (as long as he or she accepts the role of a Commander, that is). To read more about the different Sworn, click on the appropriate link below:
