WaterfallNote: Throughout this guide Ardougne is refered to as Aragon. Don't blame me...blame whoever decided it would be fun to come up with a name nobody (NOBODY BEING ME) can remember. Requirements: Six of air, earth, and water runes. Not to mention a rope. First things first, finding the starting point. Head to Aragon and get the things you need out of the bank (namely rope, though you don't need the runes just yet). Head north out of the city and find the river that runs through it...walk along it (north) until you come to a house. That's the tourist center (as the sign says), though that's not where you're going. You're on your way further north, to a house in the middle of nowhere. Inside (or walking around outside of it) is a woman named Almera. Talk to her, and she'll tell you her son went off looking for treasure so he can move out his mama's house and get some hos. You can relate, so you head off to find her child (since she obviously couldn't put up 'missing child' posters in Aragon. NOT LIKE THEY SELL PAPER IN THE STORES OR ANYTHING!). If you haven't already, break into her house and head to her backyard. In the water is a small raft, and since you're a fucking moron you'll jump on it. Isn't this fun? Unfortunately for you, you decided leveling mining was a little more important than sailing, so you crash into a small island. Good job loser. It just so happens the little boy you're looking for is standing nearby like a moron. Talk to him...I don't actually remember what's supposed to be said since I did this part of the quest months ago, but it shouldn't be too hard to figure out if I managed to. Now you're feeling pretty damn manly aren't you...so jump off your island prison (you'll lose about 3-5 hits in the process) and get washed ashore near the tourist place. Interesting side note: the son returns home and gets grounded forever (literally) for pulling that little stunt. And you thought your parents were strict. With that out of the way, head into the tourist place for no apparent reason. Well there might be a reason, but I forgot the conversation with the boy...so whatever. Inside is a man named Hadley, talk to him and he'll tell you how people love this area of the land. They enjoy fishing and wandering the hillside (and most likely getting killed by goblins and moss giants...though he conveniently leaves that part out). Keep the convo going and he'll tell you about how he thinks the treasure stuff is garbage...and tell legends about some elvish king who's wife was kidnapped. He then decided to live under the waterfall...which probably means he died horribly and either cursed it or haunts it. AND GUESS WHERE YOU'RE GOING LATER! Of course I'm just guessing on that part...maybe elves aren't petty enough to become ghosts? We'll know soon enough. Anyway, he'll tell you to go read a book from upstairs...so go do that. When you're finished talking to the old man, head upstairs and rob one of his bookcases. Some hero you are you sodding thief. Start reading...or just click on everything and pretend to read it like I did. From what I can tell it's just a bunch of stories and depressing love poems written by the Elvish king who probably doesn't want you in his waterfall. Whatever...head outside when you're done. Head south along the river and cut through Aragon, cause you're going to go see the gnomes! Make your way to their little maze thing, which is south of the Khazard battlefield...which is just southwest of Aragon. It's over by the fight arena area if you know where that is. Make your way through the maze (I can't possibly talk you through it haha) until you come to a hole in the ground with a ladder. You'll drop down into a little underground dungeon filled with zombies, hobgoblins, and giant bats. Fight your way east (or just walk through if you're lvl 65+) until you get into a little room full of crates. Search the southwestern ones until you find yourself a large key. Now head to the western part of the dungeon, fighting off hobgoblins along the way, until you make it to a locked prison thing. Inside is a gnome who got trapped in there by the hobgoblins and lost his key. Good thing you have it eh? Break and enter (you're doing that a lot aren't you?) and talk to the gnomish prisoner. He apparently brought his family fortune with him, which includes "Glarials pebble" which you just happen to need. Luckily for you, he doesn't want it, and gives it away. Isn't that sweet? Make your way back through the maze the way you came, and then back to Aragon. Bank whatever you got on this fun trip, plus your armor and weapons since you can't do the next part unless you come in peace. BRING FOOD THOUGH! Now head north to find a grave, which 9 times out of 10 on this game means you'll be having a ghostly encounter, fun! Go back to the tourist place, and then head northeast from there, where you'll find the grave you're looking for. Use the pebble on her gravestone and you'll fall down into the dungeon below. Down below you'll find skeletons, zombies, and moss giants. I bet they came in peace huh? If you're a lvl 100 this should be easy as taking candy from a baby. If you're a low level like me, then I hope you have lots of prayer haha. Head north and find a cupboard. Search it you thief, and you'll get an urn from it. Now head back to the previous room and find an odd looking wall...which you should know to push. Head west, avoiding the enemies, until you come across her coffin. Now search it and steal the amulet inside you morbid fuck. Now that you have both the urn and the amulet, head back to the exit. And that wasn't even the hard part.... Head back to Aragon and grab your weapons, armor, food, runes, rope, urn, amulet, and maybe a prayer and stat restoring potions. I bet you're happy to know you'll be coming across creatures that drain your prayer/stats. FUN! Head back to Almera's house, and break and enter once again cause you need to borrow her raft. Take a ride...and of course crash land on the island again you clumsy fuck. This time use your rope on the dead tree your standing next to and he'll eventually figure out how to get to the next island. Repeat process twice until you make it to the door. Make sure to put on Glaria's Amulet and then RIGHT CLICK (or else you could possibly fall into the waterfall) on the door and open it, heading inside. The first room you come to has the spiders that drain your prayer. If you're feeling pretty darn manly, fight them off...if not run like Hell to the east side of the room and go through the door, hopefully slamming it shut behind you. Once you get through the door, you'll be surrounded by skeleton mages. Fortunetly (if you're level 43+) they won't autoattack you. So try to make your way through the narrow hall without accidently clicking on them. Eat if you need to, because the next room isn't any easier. Open the big doors and try to make it to the crate, avoiding the level 54 skeletons as best you can. Or kill them all horribly, what do I care? Search the crate when you get a chance, cause inside is a key you'll need. Now head back to the small hallway and close the doors behind you. Take the time you have to heal up if you aren't being auto-attacked by angry skeleton mages. When you're done, cross the spider room (trying to avoid the spiders of course) and take the western path. Might wanna close the door behind you, unless you want to be attacked from behind by spiders. In this room are fire giants (lvl 109), skeletons (lvl 25), and a giant rat (lvl 8 or something) and bat (lvl 32). Head to the northern area of this room and find the odd looking wall. Now stand and stare at it while the fire giant crushes you like a bug. Just kidding...push the wall and cross over to a hallway full of level 54 skeletons. Fight your way through this area and you'll get to a locked door. Use your key on it and you'll cross through. The fighting is done for now, YAY! Now you find yourself in a room with six pillars and a statue. Use one of each rune (water, earth, and air for those scoring at home) on each of the pillars, and than use your amulet on the statue. Suddenly the ground behind you raises, letting you reach the treasure hanging from the ceiling. Coincidentally I have the same thing in my room to keep people from breaking in and stealing my wallet/bling bling. IMPORTANT: USE THE URN ON THE TREASURE BEFORE YOU TRY TO PICK IT UP!!! If you don't, you have to start the whole ritual thing over again, which would fucking suck. Especially if you didn't foresee that happening and didn't bring spare runes. After you pour the contents of the urn into the chalice, you get the treasure, completing this worthless quest. YAY! So what do you get? One quest point, 40 mithril seeds (which make you into a tree for a short time), two cut diamonds, two gold bars, and experience to attack and strength. I was going to see how much I got, but I forgot to record my previous xp numbers. Ah well, that stuff tends to vary by combat level anyway, should be around 15,000 to each though. You became a better fighter, got a decent reward, and learned a very important lesson. NEVER HELP WOMEN WHO'S CHILDREN ARE MISSING!!! - by Count Comp
