FAQ - Contact - White-Wolf

Thank you, White-Wolf

The base on which I've built this clan (other than RuneScape) is White-Wolf's fantastic RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade. This is the second best RPG ever made (after Vampire: The Requiem, V:TM's sequel), and due to my obsession with it, I decided to use its history and legends when building this clan.

Malkavians, Ventrue, Brujah, Giovanni, etc. are all clans from V:TM -- they were not created by me. If you wish to know where I got the main part of my vampiric knowledge from, check out their products at White-Wolf.com. I strongly recommend the Book of Nod and the Vampire: The Masquerade main source book. Personally, I own around 70 books of the V:TM and V:TR series, and will keep buying them for as long as they are printed. V:TM is now a dead game, though, as White-Wolf are now focusing on their new World of Darkness (which includes V:TR), so if you want to buy any of the V:TM books, do so before they are all gone.

As of a later update in the clan, I've also borrowed some ideas from Vampire: The Requiem. Or to be more precise, from the Ordo Dracul book. The Sworn of Malkav, and its three sub-groups, are in fact taken from the Sworn of Dracula. I have made a few adjustments to it, but that's where I got the Sworn titles and the concept of them. Even if you don't play RPGs, the Ordo Dracul book is still one I could strongly recommend only for reading it. So if you're interested in where I've got the ideas, don't avoid getting it just because you don't play the game--it's still a very good read.

As you've probably figured out, this page is just to avoid legal conflict. And there is no need in sending me messages about how I might get sued*. Hehe. I know for certain that the staff at White-Wolf don't mind people using their books as sources when creating chronicles and stories--that's what RPGs are all about.

  * - The people who have put it kindly, don't feel offended by this. I don't mind people giving me advice with good intentions. It's the people who yell "omg ur gonna get sued lmfao!" that annoy me.
