Zepherusbane
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Biography It was a dark, lonely night in a strange town when Zepherusbane came to an awareness that he was not on the island any longer. Walking around in a daze, he watched as people were attacked in the streets and their meager gold pieces looted right in front of a grand castle. Such lawlessness! He was startled also by the way people kept poping out of the air, most expressing how upset they were because they had just died. "Just died?" zeph asked some of them. "Go away noob" was the response... This confused zeph greatly; he saw a church to the East and entered hoping to find solitude by speaking with a preist. But the priest wanted him to talk to a restless ghost in the graveyard. This was baffling to zeph, he determined to go find a place where he wasn't so confused by everyone and set off on the road Northward. This little bit of traveling seemed to be just what he needed as he saw lots of farms with normal looking sheep and crops growing in the fields. This all changed when he got to the crossroads by what he later found out was Draynor Manor. Here he was accosted by a Hiwayman who rapidly drained him of life. Zeph was shocked to find himself quite alive a short time later but back where he had began but with nothing in his backpack. Understanding started to dawn upon him at this point, he had been killed but still lived. At this point, he had no materials at all as everything had been lost to the hiwayman. He didn't give up. He found a map laying on the ground and discovered that the town he was in was named Lumbridge. He endevored to take on a trade and decided that the trade would be mining. To get money, he picked up little piles of it that he found on the ground and soon was able to purchase a bronze pick-axe from the general store. He found on his map that the nearest mine was in Varrock, a town to the north. Zeph was more wary as he traveled the road this time and ran when highwayman appeared and attempted to kill him and shortly made his way to the Varrock mines where he bagan his trade. Despite all the other miners that kept taking the stone from the rocks before he could mine any, he found the trade to his liking. He soon discovered from talking with other and from a more extensive map, that there were other mines to be explored in other towns and as he improved his abilities in mining he explored these other mines. Along the way he found himself doing some quests and seeing some combat to the point where at least the highwaymen would leave him alone. After establishing himself to the point where he was finally able to join the mining guild, he started looking for other aveneues of making a living but soon found that there were many places he was not able to go. He didn't like this and rapidly made a bribe to the Runescape Powers to be allowed into these restricted areas. He found that this not only opened up new frontiers to be explored, but also new trades with which to make money. This was very, very good. Rapidly the world was explored with many mis-adventures along the way, especially when heading to far into the Northern areas above Varrock and Edgeville. Endevoring not to keep waking up in Lumbridge, Zeph started talking to the many persons he came across in the world and found that many needed his help. He made it his mission in life to help as many citizens as possible. Unfortunately, he found he wasn't as skilled in many of the things required to provide this help so he worked on those skills to be able to do so. After many months of training and helping others with their quests he once again found himself wanting to find new things to do. He continued to build on some of the skills he had developed but wanted something more. He needed companionship and thus began searching for a group of like-minded individuals to join forces with. Sadly he was not able to find any such group after many months of searching in vain so instead of joining a group he began one. After many months of this he determined that it just wasn't working out as well as he had hoped and then the main communications methods of the group he had started was wiped out by an unknown force. The search began anew. Strangly after almost giving up the search Zeph came accross a group named Followers of Malkav. This group seemed to be just what he was looking for and he rapidly worked to become accepted into this group. And the rest of this story is yet to be written as it is still unfolding now.
