Under 18? Then leave. This site contains foul language and foul fake-opinions from foul people, and people under 18 die if they read those words and/or opinions.

Also, if you're easily offended, you do best in leaving, as well. It is all meant to be for fun, but you are still likely to be offended.

Armored Core 3

2002 From - From - PS2

Armored Core 3 is a MECH GAME. Being able to use a mech adds to the cool factor significantly. That's not the best part, though. The best part is being able to build your own mech called an Armored Core or AC for short. You start off with three generic not very high performing mechs. You play through 50 or so missions to earn money and fight against other computer controlled ACs to go up in rank, gain money and get AC parts for prizes. If you buy one part, all your ACs get it. When you get more money later on, that's when you can make more different kinds of ACs. A lot of fun lies in being able to make the AC however you want it. You can use tank treds for more weight carrying (Which means you can get heavier, more armored parts and don't have to get into a firing position for heavy firepower back mounted weapons, etc.) but they're somewhat slow. You can also get normal humanoid legs that vary in speed, amor, energy consumption, etc. Quad legs are also available, chicken legs (Like those two leged ones in star wars), and hovering units, which generally specialize in speed. There are different inside parts you can get for performance and many weapons. You can use blades like the ones in Gundam Wing and other types of weapons. Shotguns, rockets, sniper rifles, machine guns, chain guns, or just buy the arms that are already guns . . . there're too many things to list, but the possibilities for AC types are practically endless. You can make a walking missile silo or a speedy blade user. It's easy to get jazzed about it all. Heh. It's not very hard to earn money and you can sell anything you use at the sell price, too. No risk in trying things out! Plus the fact that you can make your AC any variation of colors.

Graphics: 9

I really like how the ACs look. The weapon fire is not bad, either. It isn't anything ground breaking, but it certainly works. The levels don't have any special look about them, but it doesn't matter. The ACs look great and that's all I need.

Sound: 9

The weapon fire, mech voice, clanging metal and everything sounds how it should. Makes me wish I had a louder TV so I could hear all of the explosions and such at a higher volume.

Control: 9

The controls are great. It doesn't take much time to get used to them and start controlling your AC.

Gameplay: 10

It's great. The fighting is fun and runs at a nice pace. Being able to do two-four players rocks. There's nothing like taking your custom made AC and fighting your friends with it to see how it does. Then there's tinkering with it to get the most performance out of it and make it have the capabilities that fit your style of play. Yay.

It's time to end this somewhat hiatus and start writing video game reviews for no one again. Funny that after all of these months of college and unemployment I start wasting time with video games and shitty reviews once I finally get a job.

Also, maybe I'll start reviewing games that have been released within the past six months for once thanks to my new disposable (heavy emphasis on this word) income. Maybe.

I got an urge to collect crap for my chao in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I had quite a lot of fun until I realised that I already had a chao with 99 in all stats. That took a bit of the fun away but I have another 16 chao I can level up. But now I'm in a mood to play Zelda instead.

I'm quite glad I went through with this The Green Shell idea. Combined with Hair, I've managed to build up a little backlog of updates that could last me at least a week. Although I have a feeling I'll put out a few of them at a time, which means I'll run out sooner. But yeah, while it's not necessarily easy to come up with shitty ideas for it, I have been looking around at a lot of random video game stuff over the last 12 hours and it's quite fun. I also need to play some more Star Ocean; I've got reptile aliens to kill and annoying girls to ignore! My hatred for Welch has gone down a lot since I got Lymle into my party. That annoying fuck pisses me off, 'kay.
