Under 18? Then leave. This site contains foul language and foul fake-opinions from foul people, and people under 18 die if they read those words and/or opinions.

Also, if you're easily offended, you do best in leaving, as well. It is all meant to be for fun, but you are still likely to be offended.

Time Zone

1991 - Sigma - NES

I'll just follow BENNY's lead and write this review for a game that I only played the first few minutes of, instead of waiting until I get into the game. "That's a great idea!" shut up. Since I don't know anything about this game except what I learned from the first four levels, uhh, shut up.

Time Zone!

So it starts out with this kid, the main character, who wears all red. I'll just name him Röd. So Röd is walking over to his girlfriend, who's wearing all pink and I'll name her Rosa. You can tell that she is a girl because she is wearing pink. Anyway, on his way over, Röd gets hit in the head with a basketball! He turns to see who threw it, and another one comes, from the other side! "What is this?!" he's probably thinking, but then BOOM, a boulder falls from the sky and lands on our hero's head! Oh dear! A mad scientist Dr. Wily look-alike jumps by and swipes Rosa away, then hops back and jumps on Röd's back. What a cruel doctor.

It then cuts to a screen showing a car with "Dr. T" on the license plate, and two vicious looking enemies . . . A soda can and a street sign. There's also some Japanese text, but the way I see it, if it's not in English it doesn't exist! Dr. T, what are you up to now?!

Wait, what would an old man need a random little girl for, anyway? Whatever it is, Röd "aint havin' dat!"

So you play as Röd, and it's a platformer, and uhh . . . you throw your hat which acts like a boomerang and sometimes it will spin around you a few times and it's neat. You can use cars and springboards to go higher . . .

I think you randomly get a skateboard, too . . . At least I did . . . It makes things cooler.

The second level is some kind of roller coaster, and the third is probably just a city-thing like the first . . .

Oh yeah there's like a quiz level on this but I don't know Japanese so I FAIL.

I got to a boss but he killed me and I lost interest anyway.

The graphics are pretty good. No clue how the sound is.

So it's a uhh . . . mediocre game and all.

Oh, I think you should travel though time once you get past that boss . . . maybe I'll try again some day. Maybe it'll get more interesting past that point.

Nothing special, download it if you're just looking to play every NES/FC game ever made, licensed or not. Or if you're just a fan of Japanese platformer games, like me . . .

I hope this review gets the "klimp cjb net seal of approval: Klimp, where it's quantity, not quality that matters." More likely, it'll recieve "THIS SUCKS," which it indeed does.

Oh yeah, the game's first world/zone/area/time zone is 1991. Hey, that's not a time zone!

It's time to end this somewhat hiatus and start writing video game reviews for no one again. Funny that after all of these months of college and unemployment I start wasting time with video games and shitty reviews once I finally get a job.

Also, maybe I'll start reviewing games that have been released within the past six months for once thanks to my new disposable (heavy emphasis on this word) income. Maybe.

I got an urge to collect crap for my chao in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I had quite a lot of fun until I realised that I already had a chao with 99 in all stats. That took a bit of the fun away but I have another 16 chao I can level up. But now I'm in a mood to play Zelda instead.

I'm quite glad I went through with this The Green Shell idea. Combined with Hair, I've managed to build up a little backlog of updates that could last me at least a week. Although I have a feeling I'll put out a few of them at a time, which means I'll run out sooner. But yeah, while it's not necessarily easy to come up with shitty ideas for it, I have been looking around at a lot of random video game stuff over the last 12 hours and it's quite fun. I also need to play some more Star Ocean; I've got reptile aliens to kill and annoying girls to ignore! My hatred for Welch has gone down a lot since I got Lymle into my party. That annoying fuck pisses me off, 'kay.

Okay, so Finnish, but they sing in Swedish so it's alright.
