OK, if you have not played the latest installment of Mortal Kombat, you must, YOU MUST! get up and go rent it now. This game is just amazing. Ever since I bought it, I have been playing it almost every minute that I am not at school or asleep. I'm not much for fighters, but this game is probably the best console game I have played in a long time. The introduction of the story line is very interesting, in this one the kinda star of the game(out of the earth people) Lui Kang is killed, so this is moreso about revenge and power and trying to stop the "Deadly Alliance"(which you will find out what that is when you play it, cause I don't want to give away more than I already am).It's got so much content in it. All the characters have 2 fighting styles, and one weapon fighting style, and your special moves. And with combos that switch between styles, it adds up to like 50 plus moves per character. It's not just like fight after fight after fight, it's got a much bigger story line, and everything plays into other parts. You can play regular Arcade mode, and you can play "Konquest" which is basicly 10 levels of training with which ever fighter you choose. While going through the game you earn currency based on fights you win. The graphics are amazing, everything looks so real. The replay value is very good. In "The Krypt" there are 676 coffins you can buy with money you earn from game plays. The coffins are how you unlock stuff, buy a coffin and whatever is in it you have(unlock more fighers arenas etc). This just keeps you wanting to play over and over and over. Overall: In my opinion it was amazing, great story line, and interesting characters and arenas etc. I think Mortal Kombat got kinda shitty when MK3 Ultimate and MK4 were out, but this game totally pulls it back up to the top. I recommend anybody who plays video games to try this. I hope you enjoy my shitty review type thing, and that it makes you try this game. I realize this is all chopped and not organized, but I'm very tired and don't want to bother. I apologize.
