- Online Gaming
Today when you read/hear about online gaming for consoles, developers such as Sony and Microsoft makes it sound like something new. They call it the next generation. and sadly enough, most people believe their bullshit. As they claim to be the first, Nintendo just sighs at them. 'Cause as a matter of fact, in the eary '80s, when the NES was still new, Nintendo developed a modem for their big grey console. This modem made it possible for NES-players all over Japan to connect to eachother and play together, even if they lived in different cities.
So . . . online-gaming is not as new as some companies try to make it sound as. Nintendo's product, however, was never released outside of Japan.
