This game was first released in the arcades in 1982, which states the fact that ASO is a copy of Xevious, and not the other way around.

This game brings back a lot of memories. Unfortunately it also makes me realize that I was better at video games as a 5-year-old than I am now.

Ok . . . maybe I am better at video games now than I used to be. I hardly ever got this far. I think. And this time I got to the first boss, which rarely happened when I was younger. I had a hell of a lot more patience as a kid, though.
